It took quite a while to get here, and there was no word in between... but it finally showed up. I held off on writing my review for a month. Having a bad back and just going through my third spinal surgery, I placed this pad on a hard wooden chair. Now, I can sit at my computer all day without any problems. It does exactly what I need it to do. And for those folks griping about it being too thick? Yeah, that’s intentional. It’s not meant to squish all the way down to the hard seat. Maybe try lowering your chair if that’s an issue? Anyway, as a severely injured veteran dealing with chronic pain and a bunch of nerve, muscle, and spinal injuries that I face every day, I gave this a shot after a big surgery. I spend at least 10 hours a day at my desk. I would definitely recommend it.
